Light Controlled by Microcomputer with Wireless Interface
Kéry, Július ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Light is a part of human life since birth. Therefore, it is logical, that today's technologies tried to use this aspect of our life at different levels up to the possibility of wireless control. Today, at every step, we can see the results of human effort. Traffic lights and lamps serving as security measures, advertising boards that create interest in people. Light is also used as a means of treating people with various problems and illnesses - light therapies.

Light Source Controlled by Microcomputer
Koláriková, Lucie ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Light technology is one of the fastest growing technology. By computer controlled light sources many effects usable in variety of industries can be achieved. This thesis deals with the analysis, design and implementation of an embedded system focusing on the control of three-color LED modules by microcomputer. Information about different light source control options is also provided. The final designed product is a light panel with LED modules which are controlled by the Arduino platform.

Smart Home: Learning of Routines
Junák, Petr ; Bažout, David (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design, development, and implementation of an innovative smart system that uses user sleep data and machine learning for intelligent control of lights in a household. The main goal is to improve the user’s sleep quality through the optimization of light exposure, particularly by reducing exposure to cool daylight before sleep. The work is characterized by an emphasis on the use of readily available data, cost-effective hardware devices, and open-source technologies. The primary source of data was the FitBit Charge 5 smartwatch, which provides detailed information about the user’s sleep patterns. The created machine learning model, specifically linear regression, is hosted on the Raspberry Pi platform, which also serves as the central unit for controlling lights and managing the overall system. In addition to light control, the system also supports sending notifications to the user about the approaching recommended sleep start time contributing to the overall improvement of sleep hygiene and sleep quality.
